Who we are, what we do and why we do it:
In 1989 as designers and fabricators of precision sheet metal parts we decided to invest in our first CAD / CAM system. We put a lot of time and effort into selecting the software packages and the hardware to run them and then went out to buy office / computer furniture.
We found a lot of furniture that was impractical and incapable of supporting our heavy hardware, or it consisted of multiple components that did not align properly leaving an uneven work surface.
We were making a major investment in our CAD / CAM system and wanted furniture that really made sense. Our needs were basic, a work surface deep enough for our drawings that would also support our heavy hardware. As we could not find anything to suit us we decided to design and build our own furniture.
It was time for a better mousetrap. Our unique Space Station™ design has a leg free work area that allows you to move freely from one task to the next. It will support both you and your heavy hardware. There are 18 standard configurations with 30" deep tops and 8 standard configurations with 36" deep tops for those of you that work with E size drawings. Our large family of standard parts can also be assembled into numerous custom configurations to suit you and your space.
NASA uses our Space Stations™ at the Johnson Space Center and now you too can have your own personal Space Station™. Our applications have suited endless types of clientele including Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, federal state and town government agencies, engineering firms and many Small Office-Home Office environments.
